Here are some details (almost 100% furnished by Glen Walden):

  • Al Gerard will be there to answer any questions!
  • Mike has a nice garage workshop, here are some of his cars:
  • 1950 XK 120 OTS: This car originally belonged to T. A. Wilson, President of the Boeing Airplane Company.  A frame-off restoration is well under way. Body panels and individual parts have been painted and the car is being assembled.
  • Mark V sedan: This car is being assembled with XJS front and rear suspension including disc brakes. A V-12 engine is being installed and will be fitted with a different intake manifold and dual 4-barrel carburetors. Mike noted that the manifold was produced locally for boat racing. Mike hopes to eventually convert this car into a 2-door.
  • 1967 E-Type coupe: This car is mostly stock with what appears to be some rally modifications.
  • 1967 E-Type OTS: The front frames have been replaced. This provides an opportunity to see what is involved in frame replacement.
  • 1989 XJS Coupe
  • 1941 Ford coupe: This is Mike’s rat rod or what he calls his “Scrap Rod”.  The body is mounted on a heavily modified 1966 Chevelle chassis using a Chevrolet 350 cubic inch engine and 700R Hydramatic transmission.
