About The Event
Join us on April 25 and enjoy some of the best twisty backroads of Thurston and Grays Harbor Counties. The drive will start on the Westside of Olympia and include a stop at the never-completed Satsop Nuclear Power Plant. (Cost overruns and the Three-Mile Island incident sealed its fate in the early 1980s.) The drive will cover about 85 miles over 3.5 hours and end at approximately 1:00 pm with lunch at a local restaurant near Steamboat Island (Olympia).
Meet-up Location & Time: Haggen grocery store parking lot (1313 Cooper Point Road SW / Olympia) 9:00 am
Driver's Meeting: 9:15 am
Departure: 9:30 am
Lunch: approximately 1pm at the Ranch House BBQ & Steakhouse restaurant in Olympia
