Arlington Skyfest Car Show

Please join your fellow club members for the Arlington Skyfest on Saturday, August 17th. See https://www.arlingtonskyfest.com for details on their program.  If you want to show your Jaguar or other classic car, you should meet Ray Papineau at 1:30pm. Meet at the Walmart parking lot at the north end.  Take the Smokey Point exit off I-5 and proceed East for about 0.6 mile.  The Walmart will be on the right-hand side.   At 2:00pm we will caravan together to the Green Gate for the show.

To be in the car show, you will need to register your car individually at Arlington Fly-In Tickets – Purchase tickets for our event (arlingtonflyin.org)  Follow this link and scroll down to the bottom where it says CAR SHOW REGISTRATION and click on button for Car Show Registration. Tickets are only $20.00. No tickets will be sold at the gate. You must pre-purchase your tickets online.

If you want to come later, on your own, there is a rule that the cars need to be at least 20 years old to be in the car show.  They are waiving that rule for anyone coming in with our club.   You will not be able to park with the group if you come on your own but you can come hang out with us!

If you don't want to show a car but want to attend the event, you should register at Arlington Fly-In Tickets – Purchase tickets for our event (arlingtonflyin.org).   There are shows until 10 PM, including an Airshow starting at 6:00pm, hot air balloons and lighted drone shows after that run until 10 pm. There are food trucks and a beer garden!

After you register online with the Arlington Skyfest, please register here to let us know if you will be meeting Ray or you are coming on your own.
