About The Event
With the cooler weather coming it will be a great day to get out and enjoy another drive through the country. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Park and Ride located at the second Shelton exit off US Hwy 101 (second exit, whether coming from the north or south on US 101; also called Shelton-Matlock exit). The Park and Ride is near the Ford dealership. We will leave about 10:20 a.m. following a driver’s meeting.
The route of about 50 miles will take approximately 90 minutes. It will follow paved secondary roads in rural Mason County as well as along Hood Canal. The drive will end in downtown Shelton for lunch at the Railroad Tap Station restaurant (www.railroadtapstation.com). This restaurant includes Salvadoran as well as more standard American fare.
