Overnight Drive to Maryhill Winery & WAAAM

We will meet on Saturday, April 23rd, at 10:30am in Yakima. We will let you know the exact meeting spot later. Travel down scenic Highway 97 to Goldendale for lunch about noon. Stop for about ½ hour at the replica of Stonehenge WWI memorial overlooking the Columbia River. https://maryhillmuseum.org/outside/stonehenge-memorial

There will be a 1-2 hour stop at MaryHill Museum of Art. Entrance Fee is $12.

Then a 45 minute scenic drive to Hood River, OR. Check in at the Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa around 5 or 6pm.

Dinner at the Simons Cliffhouse on site at the hotel.

Sunday morning breakfast at the hotel. For those interested, we will leave the hotel at 08:30am and travel to Western Antique Aeroplane & Automotive Museum (WAAAM) https://www.waaamuseum.org We will have a group rate. If not interested in the museum, feel free to stay at the hotel and enjoy the spa.

Room Reservations need to be made by March 23rd to get our group rate for up to 15 rooms (starting at $189/night which is approximately $20 off).  If rooms are available after that date, they will be at the regular rate.  They only have 40 rooms total, and the downside is that if you cancel after March 23 you will forfeit your room deposit.  If interested you must reserve your room through this website https://reservations.travelclick.com/99913?gruopID=3406443

You can extend your stay another night if you wish to take in the hotel & spa for another day.

We will return via Hwy 84 to I-5 and back to our homes, making a big circle around south-central Washington.
