About The Event
Plateau to the Sound Drive
Join us for a scenic autumn drive through some of the South Sound's most enjoyable roads as we explore rural Pierce County, Lake Tapps, Dash Point, and the Browns Point waterfront.
We'll depart from Enumclaw and wind our way through Buckley and South Prairie on a collection of lightly traveled backroads before heading toward the shores of Lake Tapps. The route then continues north through Auburn and Federal Way before reaching the coastal roads of Dash Point. From there, we'll follow East Side Drive and Marine View Drive, enjoying views of Puget Sound and the waterfront communities that line the shoreline.
The final portion of the drive takes us through Northeast Tacoma and Milton, providing a mix of country roads, winding stretches, and waterfront scenery, before rewarding ourselves with lunch.
