Port Townsend Aero Museum

We will all meet in Kingston and head for lunch at the San Juan Taqueria and then go to the Port Townsend Aero Museum for our tour.   This will include a panel discussion with some of the pilots that are members of our club.   It should be very interesting!!

Meet at Safeway. The store has restrooms, prepared breakfast food.  8196 WA-104, Kingston, WA 98346.  On the other side of Hwy 104 is a Starbucks with food and coffee.  Plan on meeting at 10:00am, and departing 10:30ish.

Drive to our lunch restaurant San Juan Taqueria, 23 Kala Square Pl, Port Townsend, WA 98368, https://www.sanjuantaqueriawa.com/ which is just across the highway from the airfield.  This will be order from the menu, separate checks.

Get to the Aero Museum around 1:00pm, They are giving us a group rate of $7.50 per person, but said donations over and above that would be greatly appreciated (and hoped for).  The museum tour will include:

• A panel talk from pilots in our club and their flight experiences
• An overview and history of the Aero Museum by the director, Mike Payne.
• A guided tour of the museum
• a guided tour of the restoration shop
• Expect to complete tour between 3 and 4pm

Return to the Safeway via another scenic route led by Kurt Jacobson

Head home from there on your own.
