About The Event
Simpson Design is a boutique automotive coachbuilder near the Clinton ferry terminal on Whidbey Island. Jim Simpson creates custom, vintage-styled sports cars primarily built on Mazda Miata platforms. He has an extensive history in restorations and once owned and restored the famous 1955 and 1958 Lancia-Nardi Blue Ray I and II featured in the Vignale class at the 2026 Pebble Beach Concours. According to Reddit posts, “most users agree that these two cars were among the most spectacular and widely admired vehicles” this year.
